What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you use our services, respond to marketing, make an enquiry via our website or when you work for us.
Information about you may also be collected by our social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We collect and maintain the minimum information necessary for us to provide our services to our customers, for example: name, contact details, organisation and role in that organisation, previous use of our services, payment details.
If you work for SSE we will also request information appropriate to a contract or your employment.
How will we use the information about you?
The information we have collected about customers is used so that we can provide you with our services and, (if you agree) to send you marketing emails (see the marketing section below).
We will not share your information with other companies.
If you work for us we collect information relevant to your provision of services to us or for the purposes of your employment with us.
Our lawful basis for using your information is that:
- we have your clear consent and/or
- we have a contract to fulfil and/or
- we have a legitimate interest for which the use of your information is needed
We will retain personal information for existing and past customers for as long as they continue to accept communications from us in recognition that some customers only re-book every few years. If a customer has requested not to receive further information from us their data will be deleted after the statutory time for retention of financial data.
Our email marketing consists of occasional communications to inform you of future productions and offers.
We use Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to share information with you, in accordance with the privacy policies of those platforms.
You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. All of our email marketing communications includes an option to unsubscribe from future emails. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us.
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
If you think there is a problem with the way we are handling your data, you have a right to complain to the Information Commissioner.
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
