We collect information about you when you use our services, respond to marketing, make an enquiry via our website or when you work for us.
Information about you may also be collected by our social media accounts..
We collect and maintain the minimum information necessary for us to provide our services to our customers, for example: name, contact details, organisation and role in that organisation, previous use of our services, payment details.
If you work for SSE we will also request information appropriate to a contract or your employment.
The information we have collected about customers is used so that we can provide you with our services and, (if you agree) to send you marketing emails (see the marketing section below).
We will not share your information with other companies.
If you work for us we collect information relevant to your provision of services to us or for the purposes of your employment with us.
Our lawful basis for using your information is that:
- we have your clear consent and/or
- we have a contract to fulfil and/or
- we have a legitimate interest for which the use of your information is needed
We will retain personal information for existing and past customers for as long as they continue to accept communications from us in recognition that some customers only re-book every few years. If a customer has requested not to receive further information from us their data will be deleted after the statutory time for retention of financial data.
